BushMan Chromatogram Assembly Manager

BushMan overview

BushMan is a web interface and a quality assurance tool for biological sequence assembly developed at SANBI.

It is a small application that helps process chromatograms, and assembles them using Phred and Phrap. It produces a FASTA formatted consensus sequence.

As part of the assembly process alignment counts are used to produce a report highlighting the quality of each chromatogram used in the assembly process, as well as providing Consed alignment coordinates to the user for easy reference to bad regions that might need resampling.
